Actually it depends on who you ask. Many prominant scientists believe than at one time mankind was far more advanced than it is even today. They believe that humans had so much power that they ended up destroying themselves with a nuclear war, much like what would happen today in a WW3. Most people will say no to the possiblity because they are uneducated or are not open to possibility then once there was a people greater then ourselves. Naturally, this is a very touchy subject, even in the scientific world. It stems back to the God or dinosaurs question. So really, its what you believe.

If there was, evidence would be shown from deep down in the glaciers before the earth flipped. There was tropical plants in the ice. That could be the explanation of why the earth flipped so suddenly years and years ago.
