We drink water and we don't live in water. Think McFly.

God made some plants to live in water (water lily) and some on earth.Some trees need water to drink some needed to live in it.It is the law of nature. We drink water for thirst but if we r put inside a lake we die.How is it?

Roots absorb moisture through the soil like humidity, They also absorb air & take in oxygen So for most trees being under water causes them to suffocate. Bald Cypress, Larch and buttonwood are exceptions to the rule

trees need water to produce food for its use but if it is submerged in water it will have to face the physiologically dryness condition in which it can not use the water though it is in the water.

75% of human body is made up of water but we cant stay in water 4 too long so....
