Marriage, is not only sex !!!, it is much more than that, its understanding, its love, its affection, its binding, and its needs too, but yes sex and bed performance can create problems in marriage as much as any of the above mentioned things can do, how serious it could be depends upon person indulged in it. But i am sure its not a serious problem which can destroy a marriage completely!!!

Over half of all straight marriages fail anyway. At least with gay marriages, the 2 people may have been pining to get married for a long time, so they may cherish it more and it won't fall apart as easily. That said, if gay marriages were legalized for a long time the same high divorce rate would probably come into the picture since people would take it for granted. Anyways, it definitely doesn't negatively impact society or straight marriage. In fact it probably makes society better - more happy people...

Here's a game when you get married: Every time you do it in your first two years of marriage, drop a penny in a jar. You will spend the rest of your life taking those pennies out. Good luck and have fun.

I think it can. There are a lot of people who love each other, but if they don't want/need the same things in the bedroom it can destroy a marriage.

I don't know about that when you have a husband who's in his 40's he wants sex less often than you do. When you get married you know marriage is not all about sex. Its about being together, having companionship, someone to share your time with, some one you have that you can share intimate moments with. Sometimes it can get to the point where he doesn't remember sex so you have to give him a hint that its time to do the dirty deed. When you wait awhile to have it you enjoy the sex better. It sticks with your mind and your thoughts.

It certainly can weigh pretty heavily, but if there's a strong enough love, performance won't make or break a marriage.

Well, eventually I think two people will have to be comfortable with their sex life to be happy, as well as many other areas of their life. If you are having trouble satisfying your partner, I would suggest you go to the library/bookstore and get some books to help you. You can make it a game with your partner.

I hope that's not true because marriage is about so many other things than that.
