I dont know if I agree with that. I dont know anything about Canada, but the education here in the USA is not the best either. The drop out rates are high and the bullying is out of control and most of the school systems are just pushing kids thru to the next grade, without them learning a thing. The news the other night said that the education and school systems in every state are falling from good, to fair, to poor.

Obviously you don't have a clue about canadian education standards. We are among the most educated nations in the world. The USA lags well behind the top nations. But there's allways Iraq to send your 18 year olds.

i think not. I canadian government just made it so that you have to be 18 years old to be able to leave school to stop the amount of drop outs there are each year. We have set our standards of education higher in the past couple years and even thou they did with grade 13 the kids now a days are having a hard time trying to keep up.

i dont know much but can say that the education there in Canada must of less value than in India. here one is to study hard to survive. and even the studies r very tough,especially in higher classes(high school&above)

as a Canadian i know for a fact that education is as important to us as it is to the people in the U.S. One of the best medical colleges in North America is McGill University in Montreal if this is any indication...so no its important to us too
