I am considering coming off the pill after 5 years as I think it is good to have a break, however I am concerned that condoms arent particularly safe. Any thoughts?

Hi, i recently came of the pill and used condoms but i dont trust them one bit, i they are suppose to be 98% effective me and my partener used to use them all the time before i went on the pill and had no problems what so ever, but now i just dont trust them at all, they are just a pain in the backside. I know they protect you from dieases but if you are not sleeping around anyway and you have been using the pill then you dont have to worry except from getting pregnant , but it kind of spoils things though, because i have a habbit of worrying that it has come of, or split and its no good during love making. After all it is up to you and its your body and it you want to have a brake go ahead you have been takin it for ages. You can always go back on the pill if you have any problems with condoms. You can stay on some pills up till the menopause so there is no harm to you.

If u use them, also use something in the girl like contraceptive foam etc in case the condom breaks or leaks. If the guy has a lot of sperm it might spill out a little or break the condom if sex is rough.

They are safe if you use them properly and are the best method of contraception. Never had a problem with them, better than taking the pill, no side effects.

A condom is taken under consideration very sturdy for scuffling with AIDS. very sturdy yet not appropriate. Condoms spoil in some circumstances. Its uncommon notwithstanding it ought to happen. i imagine the failure price is about 5 in protecting with-cent, so its more effective constructive than not something yet not appropriate. you are able to placed on it properly, placed it on properly, i imagine some sorts of lubricants can harm them.

no contraceptive is 100% safe.

you can get pregnant on the pill if you fall ill and have to take antibiotics.

condoms some times split or come off during intercourse.

condoms are only unsafe in the hands of a trained assassin, like a ninja can kill at least 6 people with 1 single black ribbed tickler (black current flavoured).
trust me I'm a ninja. shhh, don't tell any one or stealth jonnies will be made illegal.
