I have had three interviews so far with a company. They sent me some paper work to fill out for a background check.

sometimes a drug test, then orentation, sounds good that you got 3 interviews though, now maby their starting the paperwork for employment

In some cases - jail. Seriously the most you can do is send a thank-you card after an interview. Companys are not obligated to tell you anything. If you think that there is something in the background check that is preventing you from getting a job you may need legal assistance.

It means they are getting serious. Otherwise they won't spend money doing so. If they didn't tell you they are thinking about offering a job, there may be other people they are considering. Next, they will do reference check. Good luck.
