A councilman was demoted here because he says that ILLEGAL immigrants shouldn't be able to be hired and people should not rent to them. They're confusing protecting our country with RACISM! I think that's just nuts. They don't have any social security number or anything. They are here ILLEGALLY.

I agree with you that were IL-LEGAL comes from. For the people who do come over the correct way aka Visa's, green cards etc. I feel sorry for them. They did it the right way but the ones who just jumped the border wonder why some many people don't want them here! If we went over there illegaly we would jailed or killed. So whats the difference with them coming over here. We should be rounding them up and shipping them back across the border. Where I live you can't even walk down the street without getting stared at by the immigrants! It's getting a little to extreme.
I hate it. I'm tried of keeping them up. They get free hospital care and everything! We work our butts off and our insurance doesn't even like to pay our hospital bills! (Sorry I rambling)

It's not wrong. What makes me truly sick are the pregnant women who come here. No US hospital is going to (or is allowed to) turn away a laboring woman. So, the kid is born here and automatically becomes a U.S. citizen. What are we going to do...deport the illegal woman and keep her kid? Too bad we won't.
I was listening to a talk show on the radio the other day, and the man who was on there said that if something isn't done about illegal immegrants (mainly Mexicans) SOON, by 2025, the US is going to be in exactly the same shape as Mexico is now--dirt poor, horrible economy, etc. That's f*cking scary.

YES. Many illegal immigrants play the "race card"...But it has nothing to do with racism...I mean, I wouldn't want an ILLEGAL Mexican immigrant as much as I wouldn't want an ILLEGAL Canadian immigrant. So the key word is ILLEGAL, not the race of the illegal immigrant. And they come to this country expecting to have rights! They don't even belong here so it's ridiculous how some of them actually expect the rights that legal citizens have here.

I'm assuming you're from America (almost everyone is on this site).
There's nothing wrong with it. It's the same thing I get all the time when I go to Brixton (I'm in the UK) and I just point out that there are very fwe white people around, I get branded a racist! For pointing out a fact! I never said it was a good or bad thing, I just pointed out that there are more black people in Brixton than there are white.
It's one of those things, don't let it bug you.

A co-worker just told me a story about his wife who is a nurse in a children's oncology ward at a hospital.
She has seen illegal families that have no insurance, no social security numbers etc, bring their children that are diagnosed with cancer and are given treatment, on the same day that an American family will bring in a child and if their insurance doesn't meet the criteria the child is turned away.
Illegal immigrants are bankrupting our country and they are starting with healthcare.

It isn't so much that we DON'T want immigrants. The operative word here is ILLEGAL. If people want to come to the country, that is great, they just need to follow the steps to get here. It is a long and arduous process, however, it is the law.

It costs more to have the illegals here than they are putting into the economy. They are arrogant and insist that they are going to take over the country and make it theirs. About one in twelve has a criminal record. They have sent almost twenty four Billion $$$ out of the USA. Very few of them pay taxes. They have gangs larger than the local police forces. Most are uneducated.
The list goes on and on and on, but it is so important to remember that we are racist if we don't want them to trash our country and make it as poverty-stricken and corrupt as their own.

that fool at the top says illegal immigrants steal american jobs. i dont see any american that would be willing to do the jobs they do for the penies an hour they get. without them we wouldnt have any thing to eat and we would hav to pay some american dollars an hour instead of pennies. i dont think the politicians should wory so much.without poor people like the immigrants the politicians wouldnt evenn be in business.

Excuse me. But they are not paying taxes. They get over here have one child and poof the whole family is on Medicaid, foodstamps etc. They are draining our system. Money that should go to improve our schools, our roads etc are going to feed them. They have their own country. Let them go back home and work there. I won't hire an illegal. I won't rent to them. I turn them in as fast as I see them. Until you get a job and start giving 28% of your salary to taxes which goes to supporting THEM then ask the question again.

It's not wrong. It's not fair that all of the jobs are being taken from Americans for foreigners that don't have legal rights to be here. If they want to be here bad enough then they should go through the whole process.
