I think I'm a good driver - its my insurance company that isn't convinced!!!
June 05 - slight bump into the back of a car
Dec 05 - sorry cat
Jan 06 - car parked up in my home road and a lorry crashed into it
Jan 06 - driving my dads and someone went into the back of it
Mar 06 - someone keyed it
April 06 - over some glass in the road - new tyre needed
June 06 - between me and a bike - we all survived - still say it was the bikes fault for undercutting me
June 06 - car parked up in the road, and someone crashed into it.
if there is a film that sums up my insurance year, then let me know!!!! Likewise, if anyone can recommend a good therapist or 'St Christopher' then let me know!!

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I drive great. I am calm, anticipate other drivers well, change gears smoothly, negotiate traffic lights, roundabouts, lane changing, junctions with grace and ease and I get to my destination thinking "Wow. I drove that well!"
At other times I drive like an idiot. All the gears seems mixed up in the gearbox and I grate every one. I don't see other drivers and make all kinds of manouevering mistakes. How I avoid having an accident is beyond me (probably due to the quick wittedness of other road users than any talent I might display) and I drive the car like someone who has never done it before. When I get to my destination I sit with my head in my hands thinking I am a danger to humanity and should have my licence ripped up in front of me.
I have noticed the moon tends to be full when this happens. Any connection do you think??

I seem to have an instinct for spotting an idiot, thus I am generally prepared to take evasive action. I have had high speed driver training and passed my course with 90%. I tend to drive too fast, but have much race track experience, so keep my thrills for off the public highway when I can really push it to the limit, when we are all travelling in the same direction and there are plenty of run off areas.
I do a lot of driving in my job both here and in the Middle East and have had no major accidents in the many years I have been driving.
so guess I am a fairly steady driver who rarely makes mistakes, but makes maximum progress at the same time.

Better than I used to be! I've only gotten one speeding ticket in the past three years (a personal best for me!).
Only tailgate people with 'baby on board' or fish symbols attached to their cars.
My daughter complimented me yesterday on how much less I swear in the car these days (it was my New Year's resolution). She said the only thing I still say on a regulare basis is 'sh!t'.
So I'm making progress in my quest for a zen-like driving style.
Ask again in five years.

I am definitely the Kevin Kline type. I TRY to control my language (and hand gestures) when other drivers irritate me but I don't always succeed!

Hmmm, depends who the passengers are.
The easily car-sick & parents get "Parker" - AKA limo driver.
The more adventurous get "Daniel" (actually my wifes nickname for me..) from the ORIGINAL French TAXI. (Not that Queen Latifa effort...enough said)....not much overtakes me.
If I'm out for a play on my own it's all about kissing the apex, gentle four wheel drifts and kicking the back end out - think car chase sequences in Ronin / Transporter.
(Actually those three are Luc Besson movies!!)
I don't get road rage...don't need to prove anything.

sort of like susan, although my dad says i'd be booked for loitering rather than speeding.
i do have very good reflexes and instincts (learnt from defensive driving course) to avoid d*ckheads on the road. a lot of nutcases out there.
