I am a scientists thinking of creating a workforce of giant drone ants to fulfill the menial jobs polish people have to do. Is it ethically right?

Never mind about the ethics, it is physcially impossible, You can't scale up insects to that size. Insects can't be more than 2 inches across their narrowest axis or they can't breathe. That means that an ant can never be more than about 6 inches in length.

I think thats a waste of time and money. People have already created machines to replace many jobs once done by men. This is, of course, a better option then your ants. For one, they are less costly to maintain. They also last longers, ants do die. You will also need people to handle the ants or is that menial for the polish poeple??

And for my last criticism... You will need skilled scientists, a lab and investors who crazy enough to give you money for this if you ever want to bring this 'idea' to action. That is something I highly doubt you can archive.

And lastly, no, I don't think this is ethical ! Or makes sense for that matter.

If you did that it would be the end of the human race.
Ants like the taste of human flesh, they just can't get up an army big enough to get us.
Also there is the danger of humans and ants having children, or pupae or whatever ants have, together.
I can see it now human torso's running around with little ant heads, eating syrup.
Giant ants with human feet and beer bellies.
You would want to get out of there because I have seen some ugly people, but these would be a mess, and the villagers would be chasing them with torches through the woods.

It is ethical and would put a lot of uneducated people out of jobs. Then think about it ... there are zillions of ants and they are really strong.....the next thing would be they would take over the world and we would be living underground scared of the big ants...think they wouldn't pay us back for all those ant traps we have left lying around?

Well you know, ants do not have an inner skeleton like us. In fact, their shell is their skeleton and their insides are liquid so a giant ant would have some trouble organizing its interiors and the exoskeletone would crush her though.

I prefer the use of maniac two-headed cats, one day, they will rule us all.

why, are you a lazy pole?
I have enough trouble from ant size ants, so a scientist ant herder with giant ants is not worth a spray.
