I mean I want to wear leggings but someone told me they came out in the 80's are they that old??

Aww you are so cute. Yes they came out in the 80's where there for a year and now they are back ! All fashion comes back around again ! But please no shoulder pads!!

Leggings made a big comeback last year. The trend was to wear them under your denim mini skirt, but now that that trend is over, a new one has arrived. Yes, they are from the 80's and so is about everything else out there on the runway. It is a must to wear them under shorter dresses and long tunics with a pair of platforms. Many stars are sporting this look such as Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, and Charleze Theron. If you are into the 80's look, straight leg jeans are back. They are extremely versatile. They can be made bohemian or rocker, what ever look you are for. So many stars are sporting them and my personal favorite star wearing these ultra trendy jeans is Nicole Richie, she is an absolute style icon.

Leggings were very popular in the 80s, but have come back in style. Wear what you like, and what makes you feel good about yourself. You'll never go wrong that way.

Yea, they started coming into fashion probably then, but lately they're back in, so is 80's rock for some people, if you check out mags 4 teens now a days you'll see that layering is in this fall and leggin's count as layering. No leggings made an appereance in the 80's then left. They have made a comeback and are now an essential to making a cute-casual outfit.

the total opposite! leggins are hot especially under a miniskirt with some pumps, or under a short baby doll type dress with high heeled boots. definately check out some of the style tips at the link below.

leggings are back in nowadays. But they are originaly from the 1980's! wear them underneath a dress or a really big sweater!

in fashion history repeats itself only with different fabric and style they wear it bu tall the same over and over shorter longer but same so goth stores use leggins now but in spandex or nylon with no feet and nets so their still in only dif colors & styles see hot topics
