I am from Angola and most of our food here have plenty of liquid to go with it. So I would definetly prefer a spoon but you gotta use the damm fork no matter what.
When i am home i use the spoon most of the time ehehehehe

Depends on the food...if something has a liquid texture, a spoon it is, but otherwise, I prefer a fork.
