Did anyone else have the leg pain or any of these other symptoms prior to labor?

I've had 4 children,3 naturally (that is,no pain meds at all).It sounds to me as if you're in the very first stages of labor.Labor is painful but you'll get through it & soon you'll be holding that baby
:-)
Every one labors differently,I only had the back ache from heck for each of my labors.
If this is your first baby,I would call my doctor & give him a heads up.If it's not your first baby & you tend to have fast labor/deliveries-I would definately call my doctor & let him know what's going on.
Remember doctors are only humans,it's your body & if you feel he should see you:insist he fit you in.
Take it from me:having a baby in the hallway of a hospital is not fun & doctors can be wrong about when baby is coming.
Good Luck & hang in there!

Lots of times the pain is due to pressure from the baby on nerves that run into the legs. Keep breathing normally and let the baby come when it comes. If you are doing a hospital birth, I wouldnt go there until you are at least 5 cm dialated.

My sis in law says that when she went in labor all she could remember was that she just thought she had to go poop really bad and was constantly on the toilet and she couldnt poop. Later she found out it was labor starting. Just keep an eye on your body if it progresses you will know. Call your hospital and ask them if you should come in if it gets worse and they will be able to get a room ready for you.

You could very well be in the early stages of labor. Pain is a sure sign...as well as contractions. Have you timed your contractions yet? I bet you haven't gone to the hospital yet, you will probably have to by evening.

Sounds a lot like labor. Try to time the contractions and see if they are regular.
