You're putting it the wrong way. 2π is equivalent to 360, not equal. Therefor, 2π != 360 while 2π radians = 360 degrees. Radians and degrees are simply different units for the same measurement.
Using the same logic as you do, you could that because 1 m = 39 inches, 1 = 39. That simply isn't the case.
You seem to be a good thinker, kid. Use it, and you're gonna go far!

Edit: Of course, you could use π just as a variable, (Just as you can with x, y, a, b, c or any letter or symbol) and not as 3.14159..., in which case π=180.

As has been stated, the Greek letter pi is a constant, equal to 3.14. However, that doesn't mean that your equation is wrong; however, you need to preserve the units. Writing this as 2π radians = 360 degrees is fine and accurate. Then you simply divide by 2 to get π radians = 180 degrees, which is a conversion factor you will probably use a lot if you do lots of geometry or trigonometry.

If 2π=360 degrees then π=180 degrees
if 2π=360 cm then π=180 cm.

So your question isn't complete.

2π is the double of π, therefore 360° must be doubled too which leads to 180°.
2π = 360°
π = 180°
π/2 = 90°
3π/2 = 270°
Note that it the lefthandside is in Radians.

Given,

2π radians = 360 degrees

Then

π radians = 360/2 degrees

π radians = 180 degrees.

There are 2π RADIANS in 360°.
2π is not equal to 360.
π = 3.1415926

If you ask a question, you should at least know what you're asking.
