In the same way you would deal with discrimination anywhere else.

Enforce your positive attributes and refuse to be drawn into pointless petty disputes aimed at belittling you because of one defining feature you happen to possess.

Also on a personal note, I find working through things on a one to one basis often has more effect than taking a 'me against them' attitude.

People are shallow and scared on the whole and will follow the pack when it comes to most things in life despite having their own personal reservations.

A person is intelligent, people are stupid.

Recognize that all people feel discrimination at one time or another. I used to be a female pastor. Talk about discrimination! Just because i had female genitalia, there were all sorts of rules set up as to why I couldn't do what I was doing. So, the object is to be the best that you can be, and look past what people think you should be doing. There are those who will respect you and those who won't. Concentrate on those who care about you and respect you, and understand that those who discriminate against you have issues that you can't answer for them. Try to be kind to those people that think you are 'less' than them. Recognize that discrimination is nothing more than lack of education. Also, figure out who you discriminate against, since we ALL do it.

Just do our own work. don't care and don't bother about other people creating discriminations. They are often good for nothing. we consider ourselves productive and good for something. so we concentrate on our work to contribute to the cause.

be strong , don't be bullied , no matter what . bullying and harassment in the workplace is against the law . and whether it's a group of people or an individual it pays to keep a diary of events so as if it ever comes to your word for theirs , you've got something to back yourself up . make sure it's as concise as possible.
