Most tortoises can swim. A lot of monkeys can't swim because of their muscle density. That's why if you ever go to a zoo they have a monkey island. The water can even be shallow and the monkeys will not cross for fear of drowning.

I think a lot of animals can swim in a pinch but not too well...most dogs swim but mine just freaks out if she gets into water and starts to float.

alot of insects cant swim ,some of them float though,some worms cant swim either.some bats cant because of their wings
