I want to find a programetic way of avoiding printing url, date, page no at printing of a web site. I know I can avoid these manualy by removing the header/ footer file in IE (Page setup). But that is very much browser specific. I want something autometic, if possible remove the header footer just before print of specific web page. Other web pages print should not effect. Or can effect (second choice). I am ok if it is IE specific solution. I can use Javascript and PHP.

Regards

This can be done if your are the owner of the web site. you just need to have a php/java function that act as a print button to do this.

This is like those print buttons on the news paper websites... for printing articles..

you get some samples from

I am confident there is no programatic way of doing that. Printing is an entirely browser based, client side, away from the code activity.
