Always greet people with a smile. Keep the positive attitude. Try to go the extra mile for the person. Do some friendly chatting if it comes naturally but not too much otherwise you will hold others up. Use the Golden rule which is treat others as you would treat yourself.

be polite , courteous ( after all the customer is always right ) make them feel comfortable in the environment you work in , and be professional -- know your way around your environment--- be a good listener and if you can't give a proper answer , point the person in the right direction .
