We're having new ones put in today and the guys are supposed to be here this morning. Is it an all-day project? There will be removing our old units.

If they are replacing existing units it should be easy. The water heater for sure will be no more than about 2 hours. The furnace is probably also air conditioning as well and that will take longer. If it hooks up to the original duct work ok then the time will be more in the setup after it's in place. That is what will take the rest of the day.

I do wter heaters in an hour - never more than an hour and a half. Alone. A furnace can take 5 to 6 hours as long as it's a similar sized unit. If you have two guys they can be out within the day

Furnace - depends on the old unit and how much tin work they need to do. Good grews one or two days. Water heater 2 hours max.

all day I'd plan for & maybe they will have to come back in the morning & finish the little things they have to bring from office that wasn't on the truck.
