Well first off, I disagree about Andrei Kirilenko. The guy is a stud!
Every year there are great players left off the All Star roster. The biggest thing going against Richardson is that he doesn't lead. There is no reason why that roster can't be better, yet they fail miserably every year. Unfortunately, he'll continue to be under the radar until he can get more results in the w/l column.
Oh and dunking ability doesn't necessarily mean much in terms of being an all star. Harold Miner could dunk, but look where he ended up.
I do agree that I thought Marcus Camby should've been selected. However, him getting hurt didn't help.
Oh, and in response to Onny...the all star game is not necessarily just about voting. The starters make it in on fan votes, but the bench makes it in by votes from coaches. They know more about what's going on.

It 's unfortunate-cuz he's awesome, however the reasons him not making it are: he's known as a dunker. Why do think Vince & Kobe shedded the dunker label. It's also why people like Lebron are scared to enter the dunk contest. Being known as a dunker in the NBA is a double-edged sword. However the other main reason is he's out on the West coast. Meaning at halftime of his games 3/4 of America is sleeping-so they only can catch what's made Sportscenter from the night before. And guess which highlights they play from the Goldoen State games? J-Rich dunking the ball....see double edged sword.

All Star spot is all about voting. He needs to win slamdunk contests more, ya know, get into that Vince Carter level. Playing in Golden State is also a mistake.I agree with your J-Rich case, but don't push your luck with Marcus Camby.

well lots of factors influence a player's chance of making it to the all-star game. a player also has to be really great at something. j-rich is a really great dunker, and he can score. he deserves to be in the all-star game but unfortuantely his team puts on a lakcluster performance. if the warriors get better and start winning games with j-rich on the helm and not just dunking but scoring, bet your benjamins for him to be an allstar!

it truly is nonetheless too early to tell. provide Brandan Wright yet another 12 months or so then we will locate out for specific. did no longer you think of the Lakers regarded stupid the 1st couple years as quickly as they traded away Eddie Jones and Divac for Kobe? by using no potential i'm comparing Wright w/ Kobe, yet he's barely performed one 12 months of faculty. provide him a while then we will see. besides, that commerce grew to become into extra approximately cap room, so the squaddies can arise with the money to maintain Davis, Ellis and Biedrins. it truly is concerning to the destiny. i'm no longer asserting it grew to become into the splendid commerce, yet enable's wait and notice till now we pick on that count.

He is on a bad team that's stuck in the mud. I have a question if J-Rich is an all-star why can't he carry his team to the playoffs like Kobe, AI, and LeBron

He should be in the All Star game but the All Star Coach just didnt want to pick him so they pick Lebron James,D-Wade,and Carmelo instead.
