I quite often feel sick for no reason, whether I'm in the car, or have just eaten, sometimes just when I get up in the morning. I've tried taking ginger which helps a bit, is there anything else I can take to stop me feeling sick?

Hi, it could be a type of heartburn but you have no pain, i get this alot and i just take an antacid, like rennie, or gavisgon. Also kaolin and morphine works for sickness. but dont ake to much of it as its for upset stomachs and can make you constipated.Keep some antacids with you at all times. If you have never tried antacids its worth a go, you may have a dodgy digestive system like me. If it gets bad go to the doctor and see if he can give you something on repeat prescription so you can get it all the time, there is nothing worse that feeling sick.I hate it.

Possibly you have an allergy. Many people cannot tolerate certain foods and nausea is often a sympton of this. Do you take any supplements. Most are great, but some have suspect ingredients, or your body just cannot tolerate even natural products. (for example, pollen, and sprirulina and chlorella can affect certain people quite violently). Try experimenting with different foods and see if it makes a difference. Try cutting out all gluten grains too, such as wheat, barley, oats and rye. If after a week or so or more, your nausea has gone or lessened, then have a slice of wheat bread and see what happens. Dairy products could also be the culprit. Soy is known to give some people an allergic response. Good luck, it's a minefield, but certainly worth the effort to make yourself feel normal again.

I had hyperemesis so it became complicated to keep something down. the biggest element that you'll do is to make effective you have become your drinks to evade starting to be dehydrated which in turn can make the nausea worse. I had to get on the Zofran pump and take phenergan basically to help me bypass round without throwing up. My dietician from Matria (the domicile health care nurses with the Zofran pump) recommended the gingerbread cookies. I also kept a sucker with me which helped alieve the going to throw up properly then feeling if i could not get to the bathroom at that second. attempt ingesting very small widely used foodstuff, like purely 2 or 3 bites of bland food like rice without butter or potatoes. If not something seems to help and the sickness receives worse, ask your clinical professional about the Zofran pump. sure that's intimidating, notwithstanding it extremely works wonders once you are able to't keep something down.

Coke syrup seems to relax the stomach churning. If you're traveling and see a fast food place, ask for Coke syrup or get it from the dispenser with out the carbonated water.

I have heard that pressing the spot under your wrist near where the pulse is, about where you would wear a watch, for several minutes can clear it up. Apply pressure one wrist after another. It's a form of acupuncture.

Go to the doctors to find out why you keep feeling sick and they may be able to prescribe something suitable for you.
