i need something never done before, or revised version of some projects, but should be unique...please..it's like an investigatory project, and i need something like for intermediate level..tnx!!!!

Well, something easy.
You can explain how to melt ice on a very cold day on a driveway or walkway, so no person won't get injured walking.
Demonstration: Get a cup half-filled with ice cubes. Go get some soduim choride at your local farm & tractor store or a old style hardware store like - ACE
Place a handful of this stuff in the cup and watch the ice melt. This stuff with water (ice) will increase the temperature higher, so now melting the ice.

A home made richter scale. Use a clock mechanism with a paper covered drum mounted on a spring inside an upturned bucket with a pencil secured to the bucket but touching the drum.
