im a great singer and everybody tells me in my singing lessons! but when it comes 2 recital im 2 shy i need more confidence

Get one of your family to film you a few times with different songs, Then you watch yourself over and over change things your not happy about gain confidence that way. Show the footage to your friends watch their reactions you'll soon boost your confidence.

Join a choir so you get used to singing out loud with a group. Find one that sings the sort of music you enjoy. The more you sing the more you relax and then you'll find your confidence will grow.

If you're shy you may be more worried about you than your audience. Instead of thinkink about how you're doing try concentrating on their faces and whether they are enjoying it. You can't worry about you and them at the same time! Also practice,practice,practice! Sing for anyone who will listen! Friends,family a nursing home,Sunday school. Each successful performance should make your actual performances, if not the hours preceding them,easier. Good luck!

Yes, i used to have this problem as well. try never look at the audience, do breathing exercise
in fact, you'll be surprised how few people really understand whether your singing is good or not :( so try and enjoy the music

Well just remember that you're going to be a way better singer than the audience, and so they will be wowed by you, and won't judge you. Imagining them naked might help. Its just like singing to one person, except theres lots of individual people. Think of it more like that, than one big crowd, which its not. And also, practice makes perfect. Just enjoy it! xx

Try to shut your eyes when you sing infront of a crowd and after a while you will feel comfertable on stage. Good luck future star.

Don't close your eyes, take in the moment...feel the power you've got. the sex between you the musicians and the audience. Also before you go on think"I'm doing this for me, F**k the audience if they don't like me that's there problem. Just enjoy it.
