The Kelvin scale is based on the absolute motion of molecules, at absolute zero, there is no motion. Of course this is theoretical, it has never been reached, though we've come close, withen a few thousandths I think.

If pure oxygen were close to absolute zero, it would first turn into a liquid, then a solid.

You should not put spray cans in incenerators because they will explode.

Divers don't want to come up quickly because the dissolved oxygen in their veins will expand.

Breezes cool you because they help your persperation evaporate.

The Kelvin scale has its zero at "absolute zero," the termperature at which all molecular motion stops. Since temperature is merely a measure of molecular motion, there can be no temperature below zero degrees Kelvin. One degree of Kelvin is the same size as one degree of Celsius. Absolute zero is -273 degrees Celsius.

There are two cooling effects from fans. One is that moving air is a good conductor of heat, while still air is a poor conductor. Since the air is cooler than your body even on a hot day, the moving air cools you. The fan also increases the rate of evaporation from your body, further cooling you. For maximum cooling effect from a fan, wet yourself all over first. Wet cotton clothing and a fan are particularly cooling, since cotton dries from the outside in, and will keep you wet even if its outer surface is dry.

kemchan2 misunderstood your oxygen question, eh? You weren't asking about oxygen at absolute zero. You want to know what would be some of the effects if the armosphere were 100% oxygen. That's kind of a peculiar question. If earth's creatures had evolved in an atmosphere of 100% oxygen, who can say what they would be like?

Nitrogen dissolved in the blood can go into tissues and it hurts like hell and has to be treated in a compression chamber.

The moving air helps with evaporation cooling the body
