how to identify the gender of an unborn child when it is still in the womb without taking a scan?

i want to know whether any method exists in ancient indian medicine or custom to identify the gender of the child

i don't know about ancient indian medicines or customs but they said you can tell by the way the mother looks and feel when she's pregnant.
boy:
if the mother begins to have darker skin than usual in the neck, armpits..
looks unruly
the baby moves almost non stop inside her, especially at night,early morning
girl:
if the mother looks so blooming, pretty
the belly usually rounded shaped

The mother should lie on her back with head facing North.

Tie her wedding ring to a string. Hold it above her stomach and be sure it is steady and not swinging. Once it is steady, hold it. It will soon begin swinging on it's own.
If it swings N & S, it's a girl. E & W a boy.

I'm not sure if this is scientific or if it's accurate.

It may just reveal that the baby is AC OR DC.
