Science = measurable facts
Religion = spiritual non-demonstrable beliefs

Totally at the opposite ends of the spectrum.

Science is supposedly the investigation and affirmation of facts that can be tested by physical means, while religion is faith in facts that can be affirmed by personal experience. Many who trust in science actually trust in a system of facts and assumptions that automatically preclude spiritual or religious facts, while religion, (or Christianity at least), does not preclude scientific facts that have been verified. True science will not assume the non-reality of the existence of God, as many do. This non belief is in itself a religion.

Science starts with the facts and looks for a valid explanation. Religion starts with a belief and tries to make the facts fit the belief.

Science in the broadest sense refers to any knowledge or trained skill, especially (but not exclusively) when this is attained by verifiable means.[1] The word science also describes any systematic field of study or the knowledge gained from such study. In a more restricted sense, science refers to a system of acquiring knowledge based on empiricism, experimentation, and methodological naturalism, as well as to the organized body of knowledge humans have gained by such research. This article focuses on the meaning of science in the latter sense.

Religion is a system of social coherence based on a common group of beliefs or attitudes concerning an object, person, unseen or imaginary being, or system of thought considered to be supernatural, sacred, divine or highest truth, and the moral codes, practices, values, institutions, and rituals associated with such belief or system of thought. It is sometimes used interchangeably with "faith" or "belief system"[1], but is more socially defined than that of personal convictions.

Science forms a major contributor to that which makes human beings what they are - accumulated knowledge. Religion does not contribute to knowledge at all. It contributes to society by playing on peolpes fears with superstitous nonsense to make them more easily controlled and less likely to commit crime.

this problem deponds on how we look at subject: some people say science disagree with religious and vise versa . but we can say religious is a branch of science but it relates to past time and religious law are no longer valid.

Science depends on experiments which can be done by anyone, anytime, facts which can be verified by anyone, anytime. A good scientist can prove on theory is better than another.

Religion relies on faith, you cannot prove one religion is better than another.
