If the potential client is avoiding your calls chances are they've found someone else to go with. Your best bet is to leave it alone, perhaps leave a voice mail saying something along the lines of "Hi, it's (your name), Just wanted touch base with you and let you know that when the time's right and you decide...blah blah, get in touch with me and we'll set up an appointment.".. make it sound like you're hot on the market and do NOT ever sound desperate. You don't want to create a bad name for yourself/company so leave the person be and when his/her time is right they'll call you.
Good luck

You should never try to solicit business using a mobile phone even if it is a business expense. Many phone plans only allow so many minutes per month. Perhaps if you are not getting ahold of the man, he's not interested in your products or service. Why beat a dead horse? Move on. Your time will be put to better use trying to find another client.

If you know for a fact he's avoiding your calls, he's not interested right now. Follow up every few months either by phone of by mail.

If he's just hard to reach try him at work after normal business hours (in other words, when his secretary or assistant has gone home) you might have better luck.

Why are you hounding him? If he's ignoring you, he probably doesn't want your service or product. Don't waste your time and money on him. Be smart and look for another client that wants what you have. That way, you wont get this guy hating you, and when you have another product he might want, he'll still talk to you.

If someone is avoiding you, leave them alone. Don't push yourself on others, that will only make them want to back down and not desire to talk with you. You might want to talk with them, but for whatever reason...they just might not want to talk with you. Count this as a blessing! :) It is a good thing! Because then you know who to work with, and who not to. Who to spend time with, and who not to waste time with. Everything in business is a positive only if you choose it to be; even avoidy contacts.
