The hurricane is gone! Send them homeless sponges back to New Orleans and save your city. The crime wave in Houston is the reason our city residents stormed a city meeting when our city leaders consdiered offering shelters to the leeches from New orleans. We could see nothing but trouble and we said " no way!" and thankfully oru leaders listened. Now, why doesn Houston send the riff raff back to N.O. and clean the town back up?

the "riff-raft" have to have a place to STAY in New Orlenas, man. All of the projects that they came out of were destroyed and will not be rebuilt! You can't leave these people on the streets. Besides, now Houston can take a turn enjoying the company of the "sponges" for a while. Disgusting, isn't it? Even decent people can't return home because there is NO PLACE TO GO TO! Nothing has been rebuilt.

I think Houston's problems are long and varied and that to put all that is wrong with that city on some victims of a natural disaster and our governments inefficiency is absurd.
I live in Detroit and had a good Friend move to Houston about 25 years ago and he was stabbed in the heart and murdered in less than a month!

I am from the great state of Texas (should be it's own country, except for Austin, which should be first expunged). I don't know the answer to that, but on my last trip to Texas (November of last year) those freeloaders were all over the place and reputedly selling crack. I can only imagine the city of Houston is smart enough to tax the dealers.
