saying that I want what I want and anyone that comes in the way is just not worth it, just a way of pushing people away unconsciously? given that the person does have some trust issues? and hates getting attached to people due to previous dissapointments and coz sooner or later they will interfere and restrict.

sounds like something you should pursue in physcotherapy....

whoever acts that way has some serious physcological dysfunctions... I can see one protecting themself and setting boundaries to not let certain types of people in their life.. but the
TRUTH OF THE MATTER... we were not put on this earth to survive our lives alone, we all need people in our lives in some way shape or form to be connected in this world, without that we are nothing.. so you have to put down the guard at some point and trust in something or someone, without it there is no hopes for survival!

Being an egoist doesn't necessarily push people away. But in your case, it does. And your not pushing people away unconsciously, you know that you are. If you have some trust issues, try opening yourself to other people. Not everyone will be a disappointment, and you ll never find that out, if you don't try. There will be disappointments in life, but you get over it, and move on. If you continue on being like this, you will stay a loner for the rest of your life, unless you find someone exactly like you, which is probably difficult. But one person in life isn't satisfying.

What's the difference between Egoist, Egoism,
Egotist? It's just pure selfishness, caring for yourself more than others correct? Egoists will even go to the point of insulting or putdown others if it lifts their own spirits! Correct? Lucifer or Satan probably loves Egoists cause can trick them into doing almost anything by making it look like it's good for the Ego

It is ok to look out for yourself and try not get hurt but that is the trade off in this thing we call life. In order to have a full life one must make trade offs. having friends means sometimes getting burned. Its not all bad though most of the time the good times far out wiegh the bad times.
