recently ive started playing bf2. the game is cool but one thing troubles me. in the game when u mount on the mg's on the top of the tanks and other vehicles such as a humvee u can turn them around in 360 degrees. the whole thing on the top (ie the gun, yourself and the shed) seems to be able to spin like that. this is nice but is it realistic? i cant figure out a way to achieve this.

some Hummer models have a 360 degree rotating turret built in the roof. It's basically a large ring that rotates 360 degrees around.

Yeah, but it's a b!tch to move the thing! The latest and greatest M249 mounts (machine gun turrets) are remote controlled from the inside with a video camera right on the gun. It's like playing a game, sort of.

Yes turrets on a humvee can move 360 degree's. Its hard to do sometimes, those turrets can be heavy depending on the equipment your using.
