Back in high school when I was completelly off the radar for women, I used to imagine that sex was and could be all these things which I couldn't understand since no one would give me the time of day.

Oviously one of the things I would think about is the possibility of having sex with a really not-pretty girl, and then just close my eyes and imagine it was someone else, or that she looked differently, etc...

It took years before I actually started having sex (and alot later for it to become a regular activity) and that concept of imagining someone else slightly dissipated with experience.

Then at one point I actually gave it some thought and said that it should be at least tried. And tried I did, but with no success.

You see, unfortunatly, I am one of those guys who has sex with the partner; I don't just use my partner for my own selfish gratification. So in order to actually pay attention to what's going on and how my partner's doing during all of this, I sort of have to be at the very least semi-concious of the person I am with.

It has therefore prooven to me IMPOSSIBLE to imagine I am having sex with someone else.... Oh sure, there are "flashes"; images of female icons, flashbacks of an old p*rn flick I watched, etc... But those are just flashes; they don't seem to stay for much longer than a second or two, and usually quickly disolve into a mist of blur without any control from me. It is as if I can't "fantasize" while having sex with someone; I am there with that person, and that appears to be "that".

But don't get me wrong, it's is not a "bad" thing.... Quite the opposite I would imagine, since my partner knows I am giving myself fully to them.

Hope this helps answering the question!

Cheers

I think that most men and women have fantasy sex on occasions if they are honest enough to admit it. It's normal and has nothing to do with whether you love your partner. It's all about enhancing the experience and making things a little "Bad" does raise excitement levels on occasions. So yes it's ok for a guy or a woman to do it and it probably strengthens the relationship rather than the reverse.

It does not mean that they really don't love their partner it only enhances the sexuality between the partner and his true love while in bed for sex.

But men shouldn't be foolish to say those fantasy name as t would lead to a distraction between his partner for his sex life.(JUST NOTE THEY R ALL FANTASIES BUT NOT TRUE)
Unless a man has many partners except for one partner.

I think your problem is all emotional. If you make yourself available to guys at bars, the mall, etc., they will bone you if they know you want it. Maybe you need more friends, or even counseling. Some of the other answers are accurate, though. Be careful not to sleep around just for the sex. That's a good way to wind up with an STD or a bun in the oven.

If they are not truly in love with their partner! If they think another woman while having sex with their partner that means that they cannot get the woman out of their minds!

Yes, we do. But we still loves our partner. It just helps to get it going better. Just remember not to shout out the fantasy's name though!!

Of course, in exactly the same way woman have their fantasies. It does not have any bearing on love/not love. Remember there always three people in every marriage bed, you, your spouse and the fantasies.
