No easy answwer here, as someone else said what do you meen by memory? RAM or Disk space? Are you getting a pop up saying you are running out of memory and Windows needs to change hte amount of virtual memory? You don't say what you are doing if you get this message, more info would be helpful.
Lots of things effect how much RAM you need FYI if you have Windows XP then 512 of Ram is really the minimum even if Microsoft say all you need is 196. If you are running out of disk space then uninstall what you don't need etc. or get yourself another bigger hard drive.
One other thing if you have windows 2000 or XP then press Crtl Alt and delete at the same time. this will pop up a window press T and you will get a box that shows you information on your computer as in what programs are running etc it will also say how much memory you are using. Upgrading your RAM or Hard drive yourself is pretty easy and there are lots of tutorials on the web to tell you what to do, so no real need to pay anyone to do it.

thats because you have got too many things saved on it......... but i think even if you delete some stuff than its still on there!!!
its really just like your brain lol
the only thing you can do is go to a computer shop and buy some more ...try to get the highest amount so it will last longer!!

Because it's got too much stuff on it - delete cookies, temps and then check out the size of the files and get rid of any big ones you don't need (eg photos).
Then empty the recycle bin.
