at least for OBC condidates you can not say anything because the difference in merit in written examination is not too much. you see most of the toppers now a days are from OBC. 2004,2005 IES toppers, etc UPMEDICAL TOPPERS. SO WHEN an OBC condidates can TOP the examination then he can.............in colleges also you can see there are some students from OBC would be in the toppers list.how can they pass in the semester examination if they are not elegible . they must be failed in the year examinations.they get a chance to enter after that they may require to work hard to pass the examination and accordingly they get the services in future.and as for as Government department services there is no need of too much talent. it is true. government departments are not made for talented students.also there is no rise in government depts. so do not worry.you accept this truth or not it is upto you.
but still i am against the quota bcz it should not be on caste basis. but it should be on economic basis. that is true. bcz what is the logic behind the reservation on caste basis anybody from OBC will answer that these are economically backwards. then why do not you consider those students who are economically backwards in the general category.so i think everybody knows what is true .but it is our nation India where anything can be done to gather the vote .and secondly why you are not able to conquer this problem ie problem of reservation if you claim that you are genious and talented. why you can not fight with those politicians who are less educated ,less intelligent than you. you are responsible man.if i would have been in your place i could have been changed the scenario.since i belongs to OBC and perhaps would not get support from anybody. but you can. instead of crying and begging fight for your right. try to build up the talent to fight against the bad politics.best of luck to you.

Facts first,
I am not from teh catagory.
I oppose the reservation in the higher education institutes.
I also oppose the upper clas mentality of dividing the society in cast system

I do agree with the fact that the student getting an admission from the reserved quota may be less qulified than the student who get admission on merit. Hence individuals who can afford best doctor may go to the doctor from open catagory. ( may )

The question here is does being good depend on being from some specific catagory? I dont think so. There is no scietific evidence to prove that the caste per say has got to do something with the inbuilt abilities. But yes, the family culture does matter.

So the doctor with a family background in medicine will have a lead over those who don't have such background.

Then how do we create equal playing field for all? Answer to this can be found if we really want to create quall playing field for all.
