The world according to me is going to the dogs today! The world is no longer a safe place. The other day I heard global warming will be an irreversible phenomenon if we do not do something about it in the next ten years. The world is too corrupted. Sometimes I wish some other species were the ones that evolved, so then we humans will not be held responsible for all the mishaps of today. But then again, that has become a basic human character, running away from everything. I want us to change so the world will be a safer and happier one for the future generations.
Remember Gandhi said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." So let us all change!!!
And we have to do that in a good way. Another quoting of Gandhi is, "An eye for an eye just ends up making the whole world blind."
Let us change for the better of the world. For the sake of civilization!!!

ONCE UPON A TIME...

- I didn't mind which airline I flew - now I make sure it's not American, British, European, Australian or any of the country that are aligned with the West in the war on terror;

- there were canopies of starry skies over the city - now you could actually count the stars, many times none in sight;

- walking home at night with a friend were pleasurable, worry-free - now the first thing I do when I get into my car is to lock the doors;

- houses were pretty - now nearly every home looks like big bird-cages, perimeter-fenced with metal grills on all windows incorporated with sensor alarm system;

- the presence of girls were always welcoming - now many reek of tobacco smoke, alcohol and spew profanities;

- Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Seeger, Randy Crawford made my days - they still do now because I can't stand the manufactured stuff they call music today.

It is at a crossroads. We have the examples and influences to do whats best for the future adn give ourselfs and our plannet the best chance possible for a good future and a healthy one.
Or we can go the bad route, which many on here seem to preach, we can all blow each other up, surpress each others cultures, imprison nations, and not be free people with free minds. We can also carry on polluting the plannnet needlessly.
It's in our hands !!! Open your minds and look at the facts and we will be ok.Apathy gets us all knowhere, not learning from previous mistakes gets us knowhere. Haterid gets us into a bad state. Lets for everyones sake do the right thing.
