Spy ware removal?

I have spy ware in my pc, it's called psw.x-vir.

I need to remove it. Help please?

if your antispyware won't remove it, you may need a program to remove it.

www.bleepingcomputer.com is a great site that might be able to help you if you can't remove it.

you may also want to run your antivirus on safe mode. I know they are more vulnerable in safe mode because they "hide" behind applications and such. but do a search on the site above and post on the forum if you need help, good luck.

Don't just start running programs trying to remove it. You could be doing that for months. Type the name of the Virus in the Google search bar and see what if finds. Type it exactly as the program that found it does. Do not change anything. The way you typed it does not produce any results in Google or Yahoo search. Many of the programs have very simular names and not using the exact name could result in you getting removal for a different infection.

hi, spyware is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

Please download Yahoo Tool bar with spyware and run the same. The sparewares will br removed.The Yahoo Tool Bar can be downloaded from Yahoo site. If you do not find it in the Min screen type Yahoo Tool Bar in your search bar.

Try running Ad-Aware, it gets rid of most spyware. It's more effective if you run it on windows while it's in Safe-Mode.
