I had to light another fire again yesterday, and I'm working from home today and contemplating flicking the central heating on... my feet are so cold and even my woolly socks are not helping keeping the warm and the dog refuses to sit on them.... sorry... what was my question again? Oh yes... Has Autumn arrived in the UK?

I love the Autumn! I wish it would stay longer than it does.
Need a cuddle to keep you warm Ellie?

Of course I will.

Well it has here in Northamptonshire UK...

I couldn't believe it myself, but the trees outside my window are fast turning autumnal rustic colours already.... I took a picture on my mobile to enable me to date it, because this time last year, I did the same very same, and they were decidedly in full and colourful attire then!

I put bed socks on last night... it was either that or switch to a winter duvet:-)

And the dog was looking at me with a grimace last night, cos I stopped her getting on the sofa, so I guess it must be getting cold on that there carpet too!

Haven't resorted to my heating yet... but it surely crossed my mind:-)

I am on the UK south coast and it's beautiful sunshine outside. There's a slight tinge of red on the grapevine. The night air has that lovely tang when the main summer is past. Autumn is such a glorious time of sight and smell.

Circulation going? - Get outside and embrace the season!

From all the leaves falling in my garden, I would have to say yes. Boo. What happened to the rest of summer? A couple of weeks of red hot weather, then rain. And we've already had the heating on a few times!

Yes... and I love it! Like you, I love the cold months, the chance to wrap up and be outside with the elements fighting you.

I love spending time on deserted beaches, listening to roar of the sea, watching the angry clouds circling above. Wrapped up in my boots, coats, gloves, scarf and hat.... ooh... I cant wait for Winter!
