Yes, nanotechnology is the next revolution. It has so many applications and beneficial uses, but the problem is it still remains theoretical. Things are built by accruing smaller things. In this case, constructing a nanodevice means precisely synthesizing billions of atoms in their exact places - called mechanosynthesis - costs large amounts of money. So it might be a while before an effective way to do this is discovered.

I think it is. With small nanorobots we'll be able to win in fight with various diseases, especially cancer.
Computers and other gadgets will be smaller but much more powerful then nowadays.
Unfortunately, there will be also new weapons.
......
Much of this is already in use.

I believe it is,but sadly,as Sasha has pointed out, military applications are being developed,such as shape-shifting armour,target-seeking ammunition,etc.
It would be jolly nice if we could get everyone cured with this technology before they start using it to kill.
Wishful thinking. (sory,that's an old,out-dated technology)
