if that cheetah has a friend who is a tiger, that stoopid hyena better be afraid

Well, hyenas are generally scavengers while cheetahs actually hunt for their food. Hyenas can hunt if they wish but they usually eat the leftovers, if any, from other carnivores, such as a cheetah. However if a lone hyena were to pick a fight with a cheetah, which is probable yet pretty unlikely, it would come out much worse than the cheetah. But if the hyena was with its pack, a cheetah would be less likely to pick a fight with them.

No. Cheetahs are less heavily built than hyenas. Furthermore cheetahs tend to hunt alone whereas Hyenas are pack hunters and have strength in numbers.

Hyenas will frequently chase a cheetah away from its kill, and feed on the carcass themselves.
