The dead criminal will not be given justice. It's a cruel world indeed.

But you may be surprised to know that, even though you may believe in a god... trust me... the dead criminal escapes justice right now, too. God is imaginary.

I understand that it's a pleasing thought that your god is going to punish people that you don't like, and reward you. However, there are millions of people in this world who believe exactly as you do, and just as strongly, if not moreso. But they believe that YOU are the criminal. And they believe that YOU will be given justice for what they, in their eyes, call a crime.

Does that make you the slightest bit curious? Perhaps they are right, and their version of justice will be brought down on your head when you die? That would really suck, wouldn't it?

Well, have no fear. The answer is already here. Your religion is wrong, and so is theirs. No one's going to hell. No one ever has, and no one ever will. It is all fictional. Although that may be hard to grasp if you've spent your whole life believing it, it doesn't make it any less true.

Do the research, and accept the fact that the security blanket you call "god" doesn't exist, and you will be taking the first step into enlightenment, and a true understanding of the world. Good luck!

Well, they won't. It seems as if humans have need for revenge, and that's probably one of the reasons why religion is popular, because you can say that there is a place (Or state of being) where sinners will end up. This also makes people behave according to the rules set up by the society, in fear of ending up in hell. But, as I see it, one of the problems with religion is that societies change, while religion tries to be conservative and stick with the rules of their respective holy scripture. This can restrict people when society changes. I'm not meaning that murder should be tolerated (Neither by a private person or by a government) but things as homosexuality, premarital sex or abortions should be allowed, or at least open for discussion as the society changes.

Maybe they killed the person because they did something really bad. Maybe they raped their daughter. Serves them right. Justice served Atheist style. :)
