Do not cut off your hair , but cut off his neck.

No don't do that! Be realisitic, it would bother you because you would be marked by the argument you had until your hair grew back to its original length. If you cut off your hair, you are letting him take control of you to some extent which I'm sure is the last thing that your really want. Unless you actually want to have short hair because YOU think it would suit you, leave it how it is.

If you are fighting with your boyfriend frequently, this means that you need to leave the relationship rather than trying to think of petty ways to take revenge. Explain calmy and clearly that you don't want to be his girlfriend anymore and then do not see him or take any phone calls from him for at least three months. This should help you to put things in perspective.

Good luck with your new life.

this is a silly thing to fight over, I don't mean to be horrible saying that, but the only person this will spite in the long run is yourself. If you want it short then cut it short, it is your hair after all, and your b/f's opinion should not matter that much. Short hair can be just as sexy as long hair, sometimes even sexier, so do what you want to do.

When I was with my ex-husband he was such a control freak that I did exactly the same thing. I cut my hair really, really short. I'm glad I did because at the time it gave me a sense of empowerment. Not sure I'd do it again because that was many years ago and I'm a completely different person these days. It was right at the time though.

Keep your hair, cut him off. I don't mean to be rude, but this is nuts... If you and your boyfriend are having massive fights so much so that you are thinking about doing something extreme to piss him off, doesn't that say to you, it's time to go? If you want a nice new hairdo to make you happy, go for it, but don't do something like that to get at him. Dump him.

As a hairdresser I would say no. There are plenty of ways to Pee him off and what you suggest is not one of them. You should only get your hair cut when you really want to and I never cut from very long to short I will always suggest to go half way as its always such a shock.

You should do whatever you want because you want to, don't do it out of anger you'll only regret later on. I'm the same way, everytime we argue I want to chop my hair off, but I don't because I imagine how long it took to grow it and than think how would I look with shorter hair now. Being so used to long hair it's hard to imagine short.

No dont resort to petty games to piss him off, adapt a 'i dont care' attitude cos trust me that will annoy him more! If he sees you acting immature it will send him off in the other direction wondering what you might do next. What a great boost to his ego that you are willing to cut off your lovely long hair because he has got to you that much, dont you agree? Go out with your friends and show him just what a brilliant time you are having without him, THAT will make him sweat.

And you were the one who suggested MEN were arrogant!!

Cut it off if you want ... then if he dumps you, it won't be his problem. What if your next boyfriend prefers short hair - will you grow it long to spite him? What purpose will that serve?

What do you like the most short hair or long.If at all he is not affected by your cutting hair then what will you do ? Grow you
Don't do any such thing that is going to trouble you. Instead just ignore him that will affect him more.
