How many people out there who have tried to sell phones on eBay.co.uk have been scammed by Nigerian scammers? As soon as the auction ends with a scamming winner, the seller is charged the Final Value Fee(comission or selling fee) This will be refunded only after they file some dispute. However when members write to eBay billing to ask for insertion and other listing fees, they are flatly refused and fed some jargon about 'LISTING ON EBAY IS LIKE A CLASSIFIED. YOU PAY TO LIST BUT ARE NOT ASSURED OF A SALE.
Well eBay Policy makers, if it was not for these Nigerian scammers, these sales would have been succesful. Are you guys working in tandem with the 'nigerian scammer' Maybe there are no Nigerians even involved.
Just a twisted way for eBay to get sellers to repeatedly list their items using various upgrades ?

PLEASE I wish I could sue for all the fees I've had to pay for auctions that never were paid for!
More than 50% of my auctions that had a winning bidder, did not recieve payment for them. But you sure do pay ebay, not only for the fvf lisitng, gallery etc. but than you have to relist in hopes of getting a real paying bidder.
I wouldn't be shocked to find out ebay has bidders to bid and not pay just to induce more fees.
It's not just UK and it's just as bad when you ship an item and they falsy claim either they didn't get it or now paypal will reverse funds if the lying bidder says it's not the item discribed.
I was on ebay since 1999 and I've been though it all.
I probably paid ebay more in fees than I ever was paid for the items that were successfully sold.
Oh did I mention how much more I have to pay and charge for postage cause EVERYTHING has to be trackable. Just be very careful with paypal if there's another payment service you can use USE IT ever since ebay bought it's been a fee game. Only ship to the paypal address and only than if you can get a tracking or confirmation number that will prove to paypla you shipped it.
Than again I guess now they can just say it wasn't as discribed and paypal will zap out the my from your account (or better yet freeze all the money you have in it).
WE NEED fee bay competition, somebody, Google? Save us!
