i am willing to write a poem for a school magazine.it can be of any topic.i need some motivation.pls tell how to write a good poem and on which topics i can write poems.

There are technically good poems - poems that follow the parameters of rhythm, rhyming, haiku etc.....and there are great poems - poems that are from the heart and passion of the writer. If you want to write a technically good poem - get a topic from anywhere and follow a poetry style (can be found in most writing textbooks).
If you want to write a great poem and challenge/touch the being of another - search for something that you have a great passion for. That could be something that makes you happy and content or something that raises an outrage in you. It could be as simple as the taste of a hot dog off the grill or as disturbing as the unending carnage that mankind brings upon mankind. Once you find what you feel for - the words will flow......your passion will express itself and the result will be your work of art.

1. Think of the topic.
2. Prepare the rough material on the topic.
3. Arrange in the order.
4. There are no rules for the poem how it should be, but
It should be simple, easily understandable and impressive. It can be facts or imagination.
Topics: Friend, Pet, Tree, Street, School, The Beutiful, The ugly what ever appeals to you.

write a poem on what you think abot the war i iraq and how you want it to end. and then carry n saying about your feelings towards the war there.

write about the people who are dying without food
some one they dont have home ,sufficient cloths ,not get any water to get , the people they are selling their body for food........life........(dont for sexual satisfaction,job , and position)
mothers are selling der childrens for food.........child labour.......
