I have an offer for $5500 usd. It looks new and pretty cool. But some of my friends said that Mitsubishi engine sucks. Some said it's pretty decent. Any suggestions?

Mitsubishis are good cars and Eclispses are cool cuz theres alot of options out there to hook them up if your nto that but as far as engine power weak unless you add turbo or juice to it. If you can afford it go with the best mistubishi out there the 3000gt VR4 (Twin Turbo) that's what my husband has and it's sexy as hell. Me I got a Z24 Camaro (I prefer american muscle lol) Good Luck

do some shopping for a price however I personally think Mitsubishi Eclipse is a fast, well built and complete automobile. I in fact have two myself, a 2001 Spyder and a 2005 Spyder. Go to cardomain for more information.

Don't buy it. Mitsubishi=no reliability. 2000 models are the uglier, if it's automatic forget it, I would find a nice Civic or Integra LS even if i were you.

IF YOU OWN A ECLIPSE GS,RS,GT,GTS THEY SUCK..THE FIRST GENERATION AND THE SECOND GENERATION WERE BETTER I'M TALKING ABOUT THE GS-T AND GS-X BOTH TURBO.

it is a good car technologically......its good around corners becaouse of the tech effects.....but its not that fast on a straight road....you are better of with a subaru impreza-it's fast!
