I was in the same position as you with my boyfriend, I had been with him 6 years and we were talking about our getting married and our future. I ended up meeting someone online and talked to them for months, but right off the start me and this guy hit it off. I ended up waiting about 2 or 3 months before i went to see him, we had a fantastic time, I flew back home and a few weeks later broke it off with my boyfriend. I flew down every 3 weeks or so and finally moved to texas to be with him. I have never been happier

Yes, by all means break it off. And 5 years from now, when you meet a new, super guy that you totally hit it off with you can break it off again. Oh, and if you ever get married and then meet a super terrific guy that you hit it off with...um, you know what to do.
