Organically raised and free range raised chickens lay eggs that the egg shell color is only brown; whereas non-organically and non-free range raised chickens lay eggs that the egg shell is either white or brown..
Why is that?

Think! It is not from the color of the chicken. Black chickens
dont lay black eggs nor do red hens lay red eggs. Think
genetics.

We raised Rhode Island Red chickens on the farm. They laid brown eggs. The rooster was a white Leghorn. :)

basically white hens lay white eggs and brown hens lay brown eggs..there is no other reasons for eggs to get their colour.

it depends on the chicken not if its freeranged or not FOOL

brown chicken = brown egg
white chicken = white egg
