I am. I have never, and will never use it. I can't wait until these 14 year olds grow up and try and get a job, and then get turned down because their employer found their myspace page with them in their underwear pissing on their neighbor's cat.
Aside from the ridiculously slow load times (for a $570 million site, you'd think they could buy some bandwidth), you are also barraged with people's terrible taste in music, flashing lights just hoping to give you a seizure, wallpaper of either half naked men or women, a mouse that turns into a cherry, and a survey about someone you haven't talked to since 3rd grade.
Congratulations, you have 1200 friends. How many will take a bullet for you? How many know your real name? Those 8 are your bestest friends, huh? Guess they have to be nice now or they'd get pushed to the second page.
You want to talk to me? Send me an email....or better yet, PICK UP THE PHONE. I don't need to know what you had for lunch, or who you're dating, or how drunk you got last night. Grow up, get a job, and....well...leave the cat alone.

I am definitely tired of hearing about MySpace. Not because of all the things listed here, but because everytime you turn around it is on the news.
Why don't parents monitor their children's internet usage?
Why aren't adults more responsible with their own info?
Perhaps if people didn't go to all these socializing sites, messengers, etc... and give out their personal information, we wouldn't have to see on the news every night that yet another person was abducted after setting up meeting in real life with some internet predator!
How many people have to be hurt/killed before the light goes on in people's heads?
Check your bulb; please.

Wow some of you are very steriotypical about Myspace...
I have one and love it personally. I've reconnected with old friends who I lost numbers, screenames too. Having a myspace doesn't mean I dont have a job or post almost nude pictures of myself on it...And believe me...I don't have a bad taste in music so...pretty much stop being so steriotypical that everyone who has a Myspace is a dirty tramp 13 year old...
pathetic.

What do you have against myspace? As for me...I love it. I have been out of high school for about 8 years now and moved away right after school when I joined the Army. Myspace has let me reconnect with almost all of my old high school friends, plus help me keep in touch with Army friends I have met along the way. I think its great, and the best thing is its free too.

I'm not into socializing by Internet. This is the closest I usually come to it.
