Mickey Mouse (seriously). When we were kids, my brother had cancer and the make-a-wish foundation flew the "real" Mickey in to visit my brother in the hospital. He was so cool! Well, he's technically not a person but he's better than a lot of people I know now.

I would list three of them and I am going to put them in descending order.
George W. Bush. I met him when he was campaigning for governor in Texas in 1994. I found him intelligent, personable and a very humorous guy.

Johnny Horton, who is a Country-Western singer best remembered from the 1950's and early 1960's. Best known for "Battle of New Orleans," and "Rock Island Line," but with a lot of other hit songs, including "North to Alaska," and "All for the Love of a Girl." He had as many as three hit songs on both the country and pop charts at the same time when I met him. Killed in an auto accident in 1962. I met him about a year and a half earlier when he was on tour in my town.

Tom Clancy. Writer. He and General Chuck Horner were autographing a book they co-authored and I bought a copy and got the autographs. Book was "Every Man a Tiger." Mostly General Horner's viewpoint.

Maybe I ought to add General Horner.

Other famous people I have met include Brigadier General Robbie Risner, one of the best known surviving Vietnam POWs, and Brigadier General Steve Ritchie, first USAF Vietnam ace.

I'm kinda old. 65.

Corey Glover and Muzz Skillins from Living Color
back when Vivid 1st came out.
I lived in Germany and a bunch of us saw them in Munich, after the show they came out to talk to us since it had been a few weeks since they had talked to Americans.
Maybe not the most famous guys in the world, but they were pretty hot at the time, and two of the coolest, funniest guys i've met.
Muzz had a hilarious story about how he caught Corey with his sister on the hood of someones car, and we learned Corey was in Platoon.

I had dinner with Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn about 10 years ago at Cape Canaveral, FL. They were filming a movie and in the local area. I was sitting alone at a table in a small but upscale restaurant when they sat down right beside me. They asked me some questions about the area. We kept sharing information until they finally invited me to sit with them. We had a delightful time. They both are very good people. I still correspond with them on occassion.

Jodi Foster when she was about 12 years old.
She was signing autographs from this tiny little booth along with other actors/actresses out in the middle of a large grassy area at the John Tracy Clinic in Los Angeles. Before and after the signing, she would just walk around freely, in this cute little dress...nobody bothering her while her hands were behind her back...just sauntering along, looking here and there, once in a while someone would pass and she gave a quiet nod and quick smile...without a care it seemed nor any idea of her fame to come. Cool. I thought she was cool.
