It could be a bad wheel bearing, or UJ. Whatever it is it wants fixing....now!

If it's shaking and popping it sounds like a bad lower ball joint. May also be a bad CV joint, bad wheel bearing, or a bad strut. Possibly a combination. Start with checking the bearings. Jack it up and work the wheel back and forth. Try to push on the top and pull on the bottom. Try to find out which parts move. If nothing moves but the wheel, it's a bad bearing. If the hub assy moves, it's a bad ball joint. If nothing moves, it has a bad CV joint. But remember that a bad CV joint will only cause the popping and won't cause a wobble. Good luck.

How many miles does your van have on it? Front wheel drives put a lot of stress on the front suspension as it holds the weight of the engine does all of the driving, most of the braking and all the steering.

The others that answered ball joints or cv joints are probably on the right track. the steering and suspension parts are worn out especially if your van has more than 75,000 miles on it.

Yeah, your front end needs work. Could be ball joints, CV, or struts (when things shake it hammers out the other parts.)

Your CV joints are bad. Replace them (in a shop) ASAP.
