I enjoy doing everything out there with the exception of C & W stuff. While I can ride a horse probably better than most of the cloned black-hated so called Cowboys you see in the clubs these days, I'm just not much for the music. Cept for Willie's stuff but he's kinda local to us there. Like Stevie Ray Vaughn was.

I just moved to the area as well and The Plaza is going to be your best bet. I went to Kona Grill and it was filled with mature ladies. Another bar in Overland Park is Nick and Jake's on 135th and Metcalf. It is crawling with older women looking for some attention... It is pretty funny. Also, try American Bandstand on Saturday nights. It is 110th and Metcalf in Overland Park. It is hilarious. You will find plenty of older women there as well.

Fuel at 119th and Metcalf in OP on Thursday nights. It is a "Bike Night", but there are plenty of women there. The girl bar staff dance on the bar periodically throughout the night for your entertainment....

Westport is going to be a younger crowd than you are looking for generally, but the demgraphic you are looking for can be found there.

So I would stick to the Plaza if you are going to be in KC, MO. If you are in the burbs I would stick to OP on Metcalf and the intersections I mentioned above. I hear KC is not the best place for singles to meet, but hopefully it will work out for you. Enjoy...

Westport has alot of bars and clubs but tends to attrract a younger headbanger type crowd. I would familiarize myself with the Country Club Plaza area which also has an assortment of nice bars, jazz clubs, shops and restaurants but tends to attract an older, more affluent client.
