Side effects with 25 mgs of Clomid?

Anyone who's been on Clomid can you tell me what side effects to expect with taking 25 mgs of Clomid? This month will be my first taking the medicine and I just want to know what to expect! I've heard some horror stories and I'm not sure if with this low of a dose I'll have the extremes.

Mood Issues
Fertility medications and hormones in general are often blamed for the foul mood of any woman of childbearing age. That said, increasing hormones can be a recipe for altered moods or mood swings. Headaches
Headaches are a problem also associated with hormones. Multiple Pregnancy (Twins, Triplets, etc.)

Hot Flashes
Hot flashes are annoying, but also a part of the hormone game. You may experience them at any time during therapy but many women find they strike often at night. Cool showers, fans and sleeping in the nude (also good for getting pregnant) can all help you maintain a sense of calm during this period.

Ovarian Enlargement
Ovarian enlargement or hyperstimulation is possible with this medication. This is why your doctor will follow you and watch you for signs of hyperstimulation. It is fairly uncommon but one of the main reasons that good follow up and screening are needed when using medication to induce or increase ovarian function.

Hostile Mucous
Hostile cervical mucous can prevent pregnancy. Your doctor may screen you or ask that you watch your signs of ovulation via your cervical mucous. Some physicians may prescribe aids for issues with cervical mucous, but you should not self-medicate.
While many people think that Clomid is the answer to fertility problems, it is not the magic fertility pill many people assume. Only your doctor or other health care professional can help you decide if Clomid therapy is right for your type of infertility.

Personally, I would not use Clomid again. My son was born with a major birth defect and although there is no research that linked his type of defect to Clomid, I found that 7 out of 10 women who's babie's were born with the same defect had taken Clomid.

I took Clomid for 8 months to conceive my daughter. My OB always starts at 50mg. I was up to 200mg. the month I conceived my daughter. I am in my 2nd month of Clomid ttc again. The only side effects I had were mood swings, and maybe an occasional headache. Your ovaries can get hyper-stimulated, which is why your OB will want to examine you before giving you another script if you don't conceive. My OB also informed me that your chances of multiple births only increase by 4% on Clomid. If you experience any symptoms, you should let your OB know.
