his inner psychology and sexuality. I positively think it is the most unmanly thing to do and they look like ''wallies'' and I mean ''WALLIES'' Especially men in their 40s with studs in their ears...ugh ugh! (This is my opinion, dont crucify me for it.) DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE I mean this practice is for stupid kids who are into anything they see a pop star do. Its unintelligent and ugly. The worst thing that ever happened on the high street.

I disagree. I love a man with a pierced eyebrow and/or pierced nipple

I agree with you in a sense that when men do reach an age where they do look really stupid when they still flaunt and are proud of their piercings BUT hey we all make decisions that we carry on the consequences till we grow old. For the likes of me I respect what other people want to do to their own body. And for once kids these days are more mature when they do imitate some pop star they know their limitations. They only problem could be on how the PARENTS raise their kids as to how they manage to enrich each childs perception on the good and limitation of imitating somebody.....

Rubbish. Piercings can denote rebellion (punks and goths being the obvious ones), a way to fit in with a peer group or a statement of individuality (though this has lost a lot of its relativity through the years). I had piercings when I was younger and I'm fairly certain I'm not gay. I'm not even particularly effeminate. And in the course of history in Britain, it was the men who were pierced, had long hair and wore skirts before the women did (well, actually everyone had long hair) but we could argue that because we did it first, attractive women are copying us!... Actually I hate that, but by your reckoning aren't women who wear trousers just mannish lesbians who are afraid to admit it.
Just let it be. If you don't like it, tough luck and my advice would be to hold a crucifix up to any bejewelled man that you see in the street.

You ask that people don't "crucify" you for your opinion but you go around calling people unmanly, wallies, stupid, unintelligent and ugly if they have a piercing.

It's ok to have an opinion on something but why do you have to attack people?

Generally speaking, I agree with you (I'm male), though I can think of sailors I met as a kid who you might have found a lot of argument over this with (from themselves and their women folk).

I personally don't like and can not see the reason for adopting traditional style tatoos from other races ...saying 'it looks cool' is not a 'rational argument,' it's a simplistic cop out. As for it being 'a style statement' is a dumb statement. It says nothing, but leaves open the 'interpretations' of it ....which brings us back to square one ....Zero.

In itself, it is a statement of Nothingness, like being 'an Angry Young Man' without a reason for being angry ...other than to simply look 'impressive' - whilst being without anything for others to be impressed about (other than being the owner of the ''work of the artist'').

I kinda understood why young people got piercings but I never did figure out why a grown man would do this. I think it is some self esteem problems or insecurities.

I have my eyebrow, nipple, lip, and ears pierced 11 times. I wouldn't say I look unmanly more weird to be honest. Each to their own I guess.

you are obviously young; i think any PERSON who has piercings is just following the fashion, they then age and why should they take out their piercings just on the say so of their children's generation? One man's ear stud is a teenage girl's belly ring..

We can say that nowadays body piercing and tattoos are just for fashion or following the trend but way before us it was part of the traditions and customs of other races.

Yep, I agree. PS You forgot about tattoos (on women as well) That rose or butterfly will look like a cabbage when you're 60!
